Lost In Love Volunteer Opportunity
The Volunteer Program at the City of Dallas was started in April of 2005. As a city department, the Department of Aviation’s programIt was implemented at Dallas Love Field in October 2005. The Aviation Department’s Volunteers are called Love Helpers.
Purpose:
Love Helpers provide information to passengers such as way-finding (where is baggage claim, security check-in, parking garages, etc.), transportation choices, and serve as the first line personnel for security issues.

The Aviation Administration Office is located at the 8008 Herb Kelleher Way in the terminal on the 2nd floor. Take Cedar Springs Road to Herb Kelleher. Park in Parking Garage B. You will see signage that reads Lost and Found / Customer Service.

To be readily available to assist by providing guidance and answering questions. To consistently plan, coordinate and organize events that are meaningful morale boosters.

Love Helpers must attend three training sessions held on weekdays only. Training sessions are offered quarterly each year. Trainings consist of departmental policies and procedural changes, airport improvements, operational aspects of the airport, tours. A training manual is provided that includes all pertinent location information, emergency procedures, contact numbers, airline information and airport services.
Love Helpers may attend all departmental trainings, functions and are recognized semi -annually for their accomplishments.
